Service Upgrade Rules

Service Upgrade Rules

Customers with multiple services may request custom service consolidation, subject to the following rules. Most requests are processed within a few days.

General Guidelines

  • You may request consolidation or upgrades involving CPU, RAM, NVMe, Addon Drive, IPv4, or Monthly Traffic only between services of the same type.

  • Promotional services are excluded from standard upgrade pricing—all upgrades will be charged at the current list price, not the promotional rate.

  • Customers may “jump” from a cheaper VPS to a more expensive one at any time, based on availability.

Upgrade & Combine Rules

Promo VPS Services

  • Promo VPS combine/stacking is not allowedunless explicitly stated at the time of purchase or if the services are part of a campaign specifically targeting them.

  • If combining is explicitly permitted:

    • The resulting service will be classified as non-transferable

    • Any custom upgrade (e.g., consolidation, bonus resources) will permanently bind the service to the original account

  • Upgrades from list-priced services to Promo VPS plans are strictly prohibited, regardless of value or date.

List-Priced VPS Services

  • You may combine any 4 of the main specifications (CPU, RAM, NVMe, Addon Drive, IPv4, or Monthly Traffic) across eligible list-priced services.

  • Combined services retain transfer eligibility, unless they later receive non-transferable promo upgrades.

Account Credit from Unused Services

Customers with unused or redundant services may:

  • Open a support ticket to request conversion of the remaining value into account credit.

This credit can be used to:

  • Upgrade existing services

  • Purchase new products

  • Pay outstanding invoices

If the remaining value of a single canceled service exceeds $5 USD, the customer may request a cash refund via the original payment gateway used for purchase.

  • If the original gateway is unavailable, the value will be refunded as account credit only.

  • Refunds to alternate payment methods are not permitted.

Promo Upgrade Exceptions

The "Launch Date" of a Promo VPS refers to the calendar month it was first made available for purchase.

A. Upgrading Between Promo VPS Plans

  • You may only upgrade between Promo VPS services launched in the same month.

  • Example: You cannot upgrade from a Promo VPS sold in March to one sold in February.

B. Upgrading from List Price to Promo VPS

  • Not allowed.
All previous exceptions permitting this have been revoked to ensure fair access to limited-time offers.

C. Channel-Specific Rules

  • Services purchased via specific media channels (e.g., forums, chat groups) may only be upgraded within that same channel.

  • Example: A VPS purchased via Forum A can only be upgraded to another Forum A promo service.

This policy ensures fairness across communities and honors promotional exclusivity agreements.
